Last night I opened for the amazing Steven Delopoulos.  It was such a fun evening.  I felt my performance was a little shaky but still okay.  I was so nervous b/c I think Steven is such a talented performer.  I played "Candycoated Waterdrops" for the first time in a very long time.  Lots of people commented on it so I think I'll start playing it more. 

Steven played an amazing set, even if he had been in the car for 10 hrs.  He ended with "People Come and Go" at my request, and WOW it was amazing.  Apparently Burlap to Cashmere is getting back together and working on a new cd...YEAH!  Most of my people stayed and really enjoyed his set. 

Afterwards I went with Steve, Paul (his manager), and some of Steve's fans over to the M.M. for some drinks.  "The Fans" were oh so excited about the Duke/Carolina game while Steven stayed enamored with the deer hunting game.  When asked if he had ever gone hunting he said, "I'm from New Jersey, we don't have animals! But we did put antlers on our dogs and shoot them.".  Right before I left I got a short serenade of some "goodnight" or "goodbye" song from Mr. Delopoulos.  Then it was back to the Trail.
