I've moved back home with my parents now for the second time. It's been very interesting but mostly it's been good. I'm now at the age were we can just be friends, it's nice. The worst thing about it is having to drive about 45 min. to get anywhere.
It seems that I have a very hard time writing lyrics except when I am very sad and depressed. People seem to really identify with all the depressing situations I write about...BUT...it really sucks when you're pretty happy and you can't write a dern thang. So until the next tragedy or heartbreak comes around I am channeling my creative energy into knitting.
I'm very excited to tell you about the Near Misses...we are kick butt. 5 gals with pertty voices...can't beat that. Go to http://www.thenearmisses.com to learn more about us and see when we are playing.
The Dylan tribute was Sat. I was very sick so I took some meds. Then I forgot I took the meds and had a drink...you know the kind your not supposed to mix with medication. I got pretty goofy and played the djembe with jay during his awesome version of Rainy Day Women... It was the highlight of my night, well maybe the whole week. The Near Misses played Oh Sister and Make you Feel My Love. I screwed up Make You Feel My Love but I don't think anyone noticed...well probably Tosco. All in all it was a good show.
Well that's all for now.
